The concept of a traditional brew pub is to combine the experiences of going to a pub and going to a restaurant at the same time, with one major difference. At a brew pub, the beer is made on the premises. In some locations like Germany, this tradition has been going on for centuries and the pubs continue to use the same recipes, creating a lasting legacy of good beer with a historical background. In the United States, the brew pubs have obviously not been around for quite as long, but they also focus on the quality of the beer being served and hope to mirror the long lasting legacy of their European counterparts.
In the past years, more brew pubs have appeared in the United States, crafting different varieties of beer to meet the demands of the customers. Many of these brew pubs have the equipment on display inside the pub to show customers exactly how the beer is made.
